Dorothy C. Blanton

Dorothy C. Blanton, 78, of Amelia, widow of James R. Blanton, daughter of the late Edward and Carrie Rhoten, passed away April 7, 2017. She is survived by five children, Skip Blanton (Dee), Brenda Mastin (Ron) both of Louisa, Susan Sequist (Corey), Peggy Swinson (Ronnie), Betty Davis all of Amelia; one sister, Shirley Robinson of Richmond; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan and where services will be held Tuesday at 11 am.
