William George Jurca

William G. Jurca, 87, of Powhatan, separated this life on May 10, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Stella Jurca; brothers, John, Thomas, Joseph, Robert; sisters; Ruth Johnston and Margaret Oblak. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nancy Lee Jurca; four children, William G. Jurca, Jr. (Kathy) of Texas, Cheryl Ingraham (Ike) of West Virginia, Lynn Jurca of Richmond, Sue Adams of Chesterfield, ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was an Army Veteran and was retired from E.I. Dupont. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He loved the outdoors, wood working, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was known for his love of his extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9400 Redbridge Rd. North Chesterfield, VA 23236. The family wants to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctor’s and staff of St. Francis Hospital.
