Albert Wilson Seamster

Albert W. Seamster, 89, of Midlothian, widower of Susie Adams Seamster, passed away February 2, 2016. Albert was born Nov. 13, 1926 in Clover, Va. to the late Sig S. and Carrie Williams Seamster. He served in the Army during WWII and was a life member of American Legion Post 186 and a member of VFW 1426. He is survived by two sons and their wives, Albert Jerry Seamster (Martha) of Chesterfield, Maurice W. Seamster (Kathy) of Henrico; two sisters, Frances Clark of Scottsburg, Marie Moody of Clarksville; three grandchildren, A.J. Seamster, II (Judy), Will Seamster, II, Michael Seamster (Laura); four great grandchildren, Melissa Maloney, Christopher Seamster, Logan Seamster, Harper Seamster ; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Violet S. Hazelwood; two brothers, James Seamster, Luther Seamster. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Graveside services will be held Friday at 1pm in the Clover Cemetery, Clover, Va.
