Anne Carpenter Tinney

Anne Carpenter Tinney, 80, of Urbanna, peacefully passed away September 18, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Verlie Carpenter of Richmond; brother and his wife, Fred & June Carpenter, husband Rev. James W. Tinney. She is survived by her son, James Mootz (Deanna); grandson, John W. Mootz II all of Powhatan; nephew, Curtis Carpenter; niece, Kimberly Tingler. Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Thursday in the Urbanna United Methodist Church, 221 Marston Ave., Urbanna. Interment 3 p.m. in Washington Memorial Park, Henrico.
