Benjamin Alonzo Worley

78, of Powhatan, departed this life on March 4, 2014, after a brief illness. He was born July 15, 1935 in Conway, South Carolina. Ben was a 1954 graduate of John Marshall High School in Richmond. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Peavy and Alonzo Worley. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Benjamin Scott Worley (Tammy); daughter, Stephanie Worley Hockaday (Kendall); beloved grandchildren, Madison Worley, Samuel Worley and Sarah Hockaday, all of Powhatan, Daniel Hockaday (Bethanie), great-granddaughter, Adeline Hockaday, of Columbia, Maryland. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan and where funeral services will be held Saturday 11 am. Interment Powhatan Community Cemetery.
