Carol A. Jones

Jones, Carol of Powhatan passed away on July 8, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles (Butch) Jones and her daughter Shelia. She is survived by Paul Hendel (Robin), her Godchildren William Hendel (Jessica), Carrie Peterson (Glenn). Her great godchildren Bubba, Lacy, and Parker. Also by Scooter Hoover (Candi) and Chance. Close friends Maryann Black and Ashley Terry. Carol was a retired school bus driver for Powhatan County for 33 years. Carol was also a member of Fine Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Also known as Mother of the "Black Sheep". Visitation will be held at Bennett And Barden Funeral Home on July 21, 2021, from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside services will be held on July 22, 2021, at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Fine Creek Volunteer Fire Department 1825 Huguenot.
