Clifton E. Smith, Jr., 80, of Powhatan, died March 9, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Thomas Smith; son, Clifton E. Smith, III of Powhatan; daughter, Suzan D. Rayman of Texas and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11am in Crestview Memorial Park, 18599 Hwy 1 North, LaCrosse, Va.
