Darel W. Anderson

78, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord October 1, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dora Lillian Anderson; three children, Melinda Murray (Bud) of Powhatan, Tim Anderson (Karen) of Chesterfield, Stan Anderson (Emily) of Powhatan; sister, Colleen Bowers of Washington; seven grandchildren, Morgan and Daniel Murray, Michelle McDorman, Jesse, Julie, Makayla and Ben Anderson; one great grand child, Erica Grace and many devoted friends. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10am in the Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
