Esther M. Dalton

85, of Powhatan, widow of Gordon C. Dalton, Sr., passed away December 24, 2014. She is survived by sons, Gordon C. Dalton, Jr. (Paulette), Clifton B. Dalton (Patsy); daughter, Susie Nora J. Davis, all of Powhatan; sixteen grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, Gene & Bruce Dalton and Kenneth Davis. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 6 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10 am in the Powhatan Community Church 4480 Anderson hwy, Powhatan. Burial will be held in the Washington Memorial Park 1:30 pm.
