J. Royall Palmore

J. Royall Palmore, 76, of Powhatan, died March 5, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn A. Palmore; children, Cynthia Cisneros (Jorge') of Texas, Jonathan R. Palmore of Fort Drum, New York; brother Douglas G. Palmore of Powhatan; granddaughters, Cristin Gilbert, Hannah O'Neil, Allison Ardoin; great grandchildren, Ashlyn and Hayden. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11 am in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2480 Batterson Rd. Powhatan, followed by a wake service at 11 am with a funeral mass at 11:30 am. A luncheon after the service will be held in Father Val Hall at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Belmead, 5000 Cartersville Rd. Powhatan, Va. 23139.
