Judy Overstreet Mertsch, 69, of Powhatan, died October 7, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Gerhard Mertsch; daughter, Stephanie Mertsch (Craig); sons, Johnny Mertsch (Tracy) of Henrico, Karl Mertsch (Lisa) of Midlothian; sisters, Laura Jessee of Williamsburg, Betty Dawson of Midlothian, Lil Price of Prince George, Phyllis Newton of Amelia, Linda Hicks of North Carolina; grandchildren, Maddie, Alex, Austin, Tanner, Evan; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan.
