76, of Powhatan died March 15, 2014. She is survived by her children, Samuel J. Glidden (Sandra), Ronnie Glidden, Dale Shockley (Jimmy), Deborah Cartrette; brother, Billy Young; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2 pm in Old Powhatan Baptist Church. Interment church cemetery.
