Majorie Davis, Chester Virginia. Campfire Girl. USO. Big Band Vocalist. Wife. Mother. Artist. Creator. Teacher. Mentor. Grandmother. World Traveler. Met challenges head on. Fought for and encouraged loved ones like a tiger. Created and learned every day. An extraordinary, loving and fiercely independent life. She lived independently until her peaceful death at 98 years old on January 17th, 2020. Marjorie is survived by her daughter Debra Davis Pynakker, son Robert Rees Davis, Daughter In Law Katy Murphy Davis, Grandson Andrew Murphy Davis plus many friends who were always welcomed and loved. Preceded in Death by her Father Fred S. Reese, Mother Grace Reese, and Husband Rees B. Davis Ph.D. “Use The Talents You Possess.
