Mary Evelyn Blanton

Mary Evelyn Blanton, 72, of Powhatan, widow of Nelson L. Blanton, Sr., died January 1, 2014. She is survived by her sons, Louis Blanton, Jr. (Stephanie); Irby Blanton (Luanna) both of Powhatan; one sister, Dorothy Traylor of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Jessica, Skye, Lily; four step grandchildren, Nicole, Gianne, Rich and Leo. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan where services will also be held Sunday at 2pm. Interment Graceland Baptist Church Cemetery.
