Ola B. Arthur

Ola B. Arthur, 92, of Farmville, went to be with the Lord April 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Howard John Arthur; grandson, Howard Arthur, Jr.; twin sister, Lola Gentry. She is survived by her children, Howard R. Arthur, Sr. (Nancy) of Farmville, James R. Arthur (Lois) of Columbia, Donald L. Arthur (Charlene) of Chester, Penny Reams (David) of Powhatan; sister, Vena Kirby; nine grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the New Life Church, Farmville. Interment 4pm in the Red Lane Baptist Church Cemetery, Powhatan.
