Robert "Bob" Oris Lawson

LAWSON, Robert "Bob" Oris, 78, of Powhatan, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on December 6, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla "Pat" Lawson; son, Timothy Shawn Lawson (Anna Marie) of Powhatan; daughter-in-law, Susan Lawson of Powhatan; sister, Lawanna Scott (Al) of Ct.; grandchildren, Brandi, Whitley and Shawn Lawson, Josh Fox (Shelly), Ciera & Austin Gillenwater all of Powhatan; three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Randy Lawson. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 am in the Graceland Baptist Church. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia.
