Steven P. Collie, 61, of Powhatan, died October 1, 2013. He is survived by his daughter, April Collie Wade of Windsor; granddaughter, Brittany Wade; brothers, Jimmy Collie of Chesterfield, Joe Collie of Powhatan; sisters, Linda Leslie of Chesterfield, Judith Holland of Lynchburg, Aleta Ratliff of Powhatan; devoted friends, Robbie & Kimmi Stewart of Powhatan, John Ratliff of Powhatan; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. A graveside service will be held Friday 2 pm in Powhatan Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or Bon Secours Hospice.
