Virginia Alwina Burkhardt Puett, 79, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord March 3, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Lee Puett; five children, Allen Clark (Dianna), Mike Clark, Jeannette Randolph (Earl), Timmy Clark (Cindy), Bobby Clark; two step children, Lee Puett, Jr. (Liz), Debbie Melton (Bernie); three brothers, Dan, Billy, George; two sisters, Brenda, Johanna; eight grandchildren, Jason, Dustin, Stephen, Lacy, Mindy, Chris, Melody, Sheri; four step grandchildren, Toby, Tasha, McKenzie, Grayson and many great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Monday 2pm in the Powhatan United Methodist Church. Interment Grove Cemetery, Cumberland. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
