William Russell Cumbea

William Russell Cumbea, 20, of Powhatan, Va. was called home with God on August 3, 2022.
William is survived by his father, Freddy Cumbea Jr.; brothers, Frederick, Harrison and Justin Brewer; mother figure, Nancy Brewer; grandparents, Fred and Judy Cumbea; uncle, David "Bubba" Cumbea; aunt, Laurie Willis; cousins, Matthew, Jacob and Aubrie. There are countless family and friends to mention. He is also survived by his mother, Emily Swigert; grandparents, Gary and Pamela Swigert; aunt, Sara Davis (Kelly); uncle, Andrew Swigert; aunt Rebecca McCauley (Joel) and cousins, Samuel, James, John, Trinity, Scottie, Samantha and Caitlin.
William was loved by millions, he never had a frown on his face, he was a light that would brighten any room. He was a hard working man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He was a proud member of the FFA and competition in livestock judging, meats judging, forestry, etc. William was a member of the Skills U.S.A. He wore many hats and every hat meant something different, he was also an avid outdoorsman and music lover. He will be missed by many for his big smile, kind heart and passion for family and friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Passion Community Church, Powhatan Campus. A reception will be held following the service.
