Andrew Woodrow Jamerson

Andrew (Andy) Jamerson, passed away in his home surrounded by his beloved wife of almost 60 years and family on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mattie & Frank Jamerson, their son, Frank and 4 sisters and 6 brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Dot Jamerson; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great- grandson; beloved sisters in law, Debbie and Nancy; beloved brothers in law, Bubba and Johnny; also extended family, neighbors that Dot and Andy love like their own grandchildren, Jeff & Shandi and Tim & Hope; many nieces & nephews; also many close friends and neighbors including The Henshaw's, The Shafer's and The Palmore's, The Tatum's and many more.

Andy worked for Coke-Cola for 21 years, but his real love was working on his Farm. He enjoyed playing his guitar with his brother, Emmett as well as his nephew Charles. He truly enjoyed playing for his grandchildren. He had many beloved pets but none closer than their dog's Lucky and Buttons.

He loved his home and being on his land, he said, their is no place he would rather be, than right at home. We would like to extend our Thanks to the 3 caregivers that helped our family out this past year. We have grown to love like our own family, Sam, Sharon and Cameron.

Andy was a hard working man his whole life, he worked in the hot, cold, rain and snow without fail. He would only stop when his wife Dot would tell him to stop and get in the house. He will be greatly missed.
