Ann K. Crothers, 88 of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away February 4, 2023. She is survived by her husband,Sam R. Crothers; children, Suzy C. Gaines (Edwin) and Andy Crothers; grandchildren, Lauren and Megan Gaines. Ann was retired from the Chesterfield County Schools, as a 1st grade teacher. She enjoyed reading and time with her grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 PM Thursday(today), at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Her services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at the Powhatan United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Powhatan Community Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
