September 16, 1930 — December 24, 2023
Barbara L. Goodwyn, 93 of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Royce Goodwyn. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer G. Pugh (Glenn), Cynthia G. Thomas (Bob) and Sandra G. Parker (Gene); siblings, Nancy Barden, Nancy Proffitt, Charity Metcalfe, Lunelle Morris, Ted Adams, Larry Adams and Eddie Adams; 8 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 29, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Red Lane Baptist Church. Interment Red Lane Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
