Betty Jean Boyd "B.J." Challenor

Betty Jean Boyd "B.J." Challenor, 61, of Powhatan, daughter of the late Edwin and Sybil Boyd, passed away Aug. 7, 2020. She is survived by her husband of over 35 years, Linwood H. Challenor; two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Brent Jefferson; one aunt, Gaynelle Taylor (Carlton) of , N.C.; cousins, Butch Oliver (Libby) of Nelson, Linda Hardison of Newport News, Connie Gillenwater of Hampton, Vickie Crone of N. Carolina, Christy Albritton Collins of S. Carolina; brother-in-law, Paul Challenor (Cheryl); niece, Megan Challenor and many friends. B.J. was a charter member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 2258 and a Past Regent. She worked as a Team Coordinator for Wilton Construction, Fire and Water Services for over 32 years.
