Bonnie L. Behm

Bonnie L. Behm, age 83, of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away on December 30, 2020. She was born in Waukegan, Illinois and lived in Grayslake, Illinois until coming to Powhatan in 1998. Bonnie retired from the Great Lakes Naval Training Center and was an active member of Emmaus Christian Church, NARFE, Circle Eight Square Dance Club, the Red Hat Society, WWII Round Table, and a Charter Member of the Elizabeth Randolph Lewis Powhatan YMCA. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for almost 20 years. Bonnie was full of fun and adventure and traveled to all 50 states and 24 countries. But her greatest love was always for her family, her beloved husband Thomas, who passed away in January, and their two children Debra and Michael. The world would be a better place If more people showed their love and support for their children like Bonnie and Tom. The family would appreciate donations in Bonnie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, ALZ.org. She is survived by Debra Lorraine Behm Pakaluk of Bethesda, Maryland, and Michael Thomas Behm of Hopewell, Virginia.
