Callie Mozelle Cook

83, of Idaho, formerly of Powhatan, passed away November 1, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Johnson Cook. Mozelle was retired from JCPenney and a 1953 graduate of Powhatan High School. She was a long-time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her children, Walter Chester (Candy), Laura Halliday (David), Arthur Chester (Deborah), Ruth Cockrell (Danny), Jennie Chester; 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, five sisters and nine brothers. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 10, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.
