Calvin Eugene Talley

Calvin Eugene Talley, 88 of Powhatan, VA., passed away November 2, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Irene Talley; and his warmhearted daughter, Sonja Nielsen (Terry); sisters, Audrey Smith, Betty Bales (Howard); brothers, Everett Talley (Linda) and Larry Talley (Helen); along with many nieces and nephews.

He loved traveling, gardening, hunting, fishing and Nascar racing. He served eight years in the National Guard. Calvin was an oil burner mechanic for forty years. He enjoyed life overall.

A time to visit with Calvin's family will be on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Where a service will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 12:00 pm. Pastor Geoff Bruschi is officiating.
