Carol Lininger Casteel

Carol Lininger Casteel, age 80 of Powhatan, VA passed away peacefully of natural causes on February 16th, 2026 at Chippenham hospital in Richmond, VA. She was born on March 19th, 1945 in Morgantown, WV to Paul and Donice Lininger, and was a proud 1963 graduate of Morgantown High School. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Harold J. Casteel, and left behind 2 sons, Eric Casteel of Ashburn, VA, and Mark Casteel of Powhatan, VA, along with 5 grandchildren, Seth, Aaron, Jacob, Morgan, and Laurel. In her free time, Carol very much enjoyed family, travel, and helping with church activities as much as possible.
