Charles Roby Sparks, Jr.

Charles Roby Sparks, Jr., 86 went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Emma Sparks; children, Michael Sparks (Debbie), Carleen Taylor (Rich) and Anna Atwood (Bernard); grandchildren, Nikki Schurman (Brad), Charlie Sparks, Derek Atwood and Luke Taylor. Charles was born in Matoaka, WV on July 4, 1936 to Grace and Charlie Sparks. He was proud of serving in the U.S. Marines and being a loving husband, father and Poppy. Some of his happiest moments were spent playing with his great granddaughter, Eve, whom he called Dolly. He will be laid to rest in Dale Memorial Park. His services will be private.
