Charlotte Bass Williams

 Charlotte “Peggy” Bass Williams of Cartersville, age 76, passed peacefully on May 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Vernon Williams and her twin brother, Walter “Ned” Bass. She is survived by her children, Barron Williams (Ollie) and Charlotte Muscat (Gill), both of Powhatan; grandchildren Braden (Sara Beth), of Cartersville; Emi Williams, of Cartersville; Tyler Muscat (Kayla) of Aurora, CO; Madison Muscat, of Chicago, IL; and Kayla Muscat of Richmond VA. Peggy was happiest serving her church and community, working in her yard, and being surrounded by animals. A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Thursday, May 25^th at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Columbia, VA.
