Daisy Lee Dennis, 90 of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away October 8, 2023. She is survived by her husband, George Dennis, Jr.; 5 children; many grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild with 1 on the way. Daisy loved to cook a good meal and read a good book. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. A service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Red Lane Baptist Church, 2095 Red Lane Road, Powhatan VA, 23139 Interment in the Red Lane Baptist Church Cemetery.
