Doris Banton

Doris Banton, 88. of Powhatan, widow of George L. Banton, went to be with the Lord December 17, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Linda “Lin” Carter (Jimmy) of Powhatan; grandson, Corey Redd and one great grandson, John Redd. The family will receive friends Wednesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan and where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Powhatan Community Cemetery.
