Dudley W. Hughes, Jr.

Dudley W. Hughes, Jr., 66, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley W. and Mildred P, Hughes, Sr. and one brother, Curtis W. Hughes. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Hughes of Powhatan; sister, Joan Kidd of Mechanicsville; brother, Wayne Hughes of Chesterfield; wife, Shirley Hughes; step daughter, Brooke Salazar and several nieces and nephews as well as many devoted friends. He loved NASCAR, country music, fishing, hunting and his many dogs. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan.
