Edward "Eddie" E. Carnahan, 80, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord, Monday September 28, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jaime Carnahan Ranck.

He is survived by his loving wife of, 53 years, Linda Deaner Carnahan; grandsons, Arthur Jon and James Edward Ranck; brother, Robert Carnahan; sister, Linda Roane.

Eddie was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.

He was kind, strong, so smart, loving, giving, and always put the people he loved before himself. He was the best Daddy, the best Didi and the best friend.

His funeral service will be private.
