Elizabeth "Betty" Aniva Berry

Elizabeth “Betty” Aniva Berry, 79, of Powhatan, VA., passed quietly from this life on December 1, 2025.

Preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ellen Scott Berry and Henry Bejamin Berry, and her brother, Staley Joseph Betty.

Born December 2, 1945, in Danville, VA. She Graduated from George Washington High School and Averett College, Danville, VA.

Employed by Bank of America for 36 years and upon her retirement, she worked for Edward Jones Investments. After retiring a second time, she volunteered at the Free Clinic of Powhatan, VA.

Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching police drama shows on television and was an avid reader. Enjoyed listening to country music, especially when some of her younger cousins were singing. There were many cousins and special friends that survived her.

A grave-side service will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, 11:00 am, at Mount View Cemetery, 318 Robertson Ave, Danville, VA 24541, VA.
