George Robert (Bob) Hale

HALE, George Robert "Bob", 77, of Powhatan, Va., went to his eternal home with the Lord on May 25, 2022. He is survived by his brother, Bruce; children, Robin Heyne (Len) and Travis Hale (Andrea); grandchildren, Ciara Moore (Jacob), Christa Johnson (Jack), Cassie Heyne and Carrieann Heyne; and great-grandson due in August. He was a veteran of the Army. He retired from Bank of America after 29 years as an AVP, Facilities Manager. He was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive family and friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy., Powhatan, Va. 23139. A Celebration of Life will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1100 Huguenot Springs Rd., Midlothian, Va. 23113. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
