Gladys Lee (Whitt) Bryan, 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Gladys was born on December 28, 1939, in Mecklenburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul H. Bryan; her parents, William and Gay Whitt; Son-in-Law, Boyd Carrico; and her daughter-in-law, Mae Bryan.

She is survived by her sister, Louise (Walter) Allgood; her children, Russell Bryan, Roy (Debbie) Bryan, Phyllis Carrico, Nancy (Ralph) Sconzo, Novie (Steve) Gills, and Tara (Chris) Norris; along with 12 grandchildren and 13 great‑grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 27, at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
