Hazel P. Womack, 90, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026. Born December 17, 1935, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Henry and Ella Puckett.

She was preceded in death by Roy Womack and Fred Williams; as well as her brothers, Douglas and Irvin Puckett. She is survived by her sons, Mac and Wade; her grandchildren, Dennis and Jessica; her great-grandchild, Everleigh; her stepdaughter, Donna; her brother, Clyde; and many other relatives and friends. Hazel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 28 at Bennett-Barden Funeral Home in Powhatan, and again Thursday, October 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mount Herman Baptist Church, where her funeral services will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
