Jamie Lynn Roper Hite

Jamie Lynn Roper Hite, 77, of Powhatan, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose faith and love touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her two sons, Willie Hite, Jr. and Charles R. Hite (Regina), both of Powhatan; four siblings; four grandchildren, Jamie (Amber), Jordan (Mike), Magee (Kevin), and Skyler (Jake); and seven great-grandchildren, Savannah, Kinley, Briar, Ava, Brady, Ryleigh, and Nora.

Jamie was the best grandmother and great-grandmother anyone could ask for. Her family meant everything to her, and the love, guidance, and warmth she shared will continue to shape their lives for generations to come. Her faith was unwavering, and those who loved her take comfort knowing she is now reunited with her husband and best friend

.The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 11, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan.
