James “Daniel” Hamlin, 38, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord June 20, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Nudelman Hamlin; one daughter, Mazzy Starr Hamlin; his parents, Gene and Ann Hatcher of Powhatan; two brothers, Timothy Bryant of Midlothian, David C. Bryant of Powhatan; and generations of loving family. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Powhatan Mennonite Church, 3540 Old Buckingham Rd., Powhatan, Va., with a funeral service following at 2 p.m.
Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mazzy’s Trust in Powhatan, Va., through gofundme.com. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com.
