POOR, James "Jimmy", 72, of Cumberland, died April 16, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Lee Poor. He was predeceased by his parents Robert & Myra Poor; his sister Christina Poor Loomis and his beloved huskie, Bandit. He was an Army veteran and retired from Norfolk Naval Ship Yard, Portsmouth, Virginia. Jimmy was also an avid hunter; co-founder of the Dismal Swamp Ranger's Shooting Team and well known for groundhog hunting. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 2 pm at Thomas Chapel United Methodist Church, 1313 Cartersville Rd., Cartersville, Virginia 23027.
