James Allen Meek
May 2, 1945 – August 6, 2025
Papa Jim’s luck finally ran out and he lost his ninth life. He survived several horrendous accidents, open heart surgeries, a ruptured brain aneurysm and multiple bouts of sepsis, which eventually did him in.
He spent his career building large-scale electrical transmission power lines all across America and was a member of the local 666 union. His personal life was spent with his wife of sixty years, Pat and their close family; daughters, Robyn Hall (Allen Hall) and Toni Worsham; granddaughters, Rebekah Worsham, Heather Worsham and Hollyann Hall; and his great granddaughter, Lyla Cox.
He had a dimpled, mischievous grin, a knack for playing tricks and could jimmy-rig anything. He was a hard-working, tool-toting, card-playing, absolute loveable a$$hole. In lieu of a service, we ask that you have a glass of whiskey, preferably George Dickel while listening to Tina Turner, in his honor.
