Jane Elizabeth Ferebee, 75, of Bon Air, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on April 20, 2026.

A longtime resident of the community, Jane was known for her kind nature and the genuine warmth she extended to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ferebee; her parents, Charles and June Colley; her brother, Charles "Bubba" Colley; and her sister, Robin Colley Kiiffner; and son-in-law, Wayne Mustian.

She is survived by her children, Scott Garner (Julie), Elizabeth Ferebee (Tommy), and Mary Wilma Mustian; and her two grandsons, Bentley and Davis Garner. She also leaves behind her siblings, Mary Colley Tinsley, Barbara Colley Breschel, and Walter Davis Colley (Kathy), along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Jane found quiet contentment in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and spent many peaceful moments watching the hummingbirds at her feeder. She had a lifelong love for animals, especially her dog, Harley, who remained a devoted companion. Jane also had a deep appreciation for live music, particularly when she had the opportunity to hear her son's band play.

Jane will be remembered for her easy smile, her hugs, and her devotion to her family. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, located at 3215 Anderson Highway (Route 60), Powhatan, Virginia.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., also at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, followed by interment at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832, at 2:00 p.m.
