Jeannette Ellen Gibbs

Jeannette Ellen Gibbs of Powhatan went home to the Lord on July 17, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Augustus and Marie Parsons; and her daughter Heather Day. She is survived by her long time partner, Jennifer Jennings; her daughters, Keri Watts (Brandon), Gina Price (Jeremy). She is also survived by Grandchildren, Gracelin, Annaston, Andrew, Joshua, Mackenzie, and Hailey Jean. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time feeding birds. She was a devoted grandmother, and she enjoyed life. She loved to cruise and would adopt any animal that came to her house. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 24th 2025 from 5 PM - 8 PM at Bennett & Barden Funeral home, a service will be held Friday July 25th at 10 am at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home with interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
