Jesse Carrol Green, Jr., 90 of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away March 24, 2026. Jesse was an Army Chaplain and Vietnam War veteran who retired with the rank of Colonel after 30 years of service. He graduated from UVA and Southeastern Seminary, with 2 masters degrees. He was a pastor at multiple Virginia churches throughout his lifetime. He is survived by 4 children; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.A service will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the May Memorial Baptist Church, 3922 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, VA 23139.
