JoAnn Priddy, born in 1945, of Amelia, Virginia, passed away on August 24, 2026.

JoAnn was an avid Elvis fan who found joy in his music throughout her life, never turned down ice cream, enjoyed watching movies, and loved visiting beaches. JoAnn celebrated every milestone with all her children and grandchildren, and always showed love and kindness. JoAnn visited many places, such as Hawaii, London, New York City, Mexico, and of course Graceland. JoAnn enjoyed relaxing at her camper in Coinjock, NC by sitting in her hammock to enjoy the gentle breezes with a good book to read. JoAnn also received her brown belt in karate, winning multiple trophies and tournaments. She enjoyed viewing the lake with her beloved dog Leo who was always by her side and watching the sun set from the balcony.

JoAnn was married to her loving husband Robert for more than 50 years until his passing. In later years she shared nine happy years with her husband Matt, who survives her.

She is survived by her three children, Tammy (Troy), Mike (Michelle), and Robbie (Jan); her five grandchildren and her great-grandchild Marcus.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her grandson Sam.

She was deeply loved by the extended family she gained through her second husband Matt; Shannon (and her sons Dexter and Grayson) and Nichole (and her daughters Shelby and Natalie).

A private celebration of JoAnn's life will be held at a later date. The family asks that those who wish to honor her memory do so by listening to Elvis, sharing a kind word, or simply remembering the love she gave.
