John Nelson "Johnny" White, Jr.

John Nelson White, Jr., aka Johnny White from Amelia, 59, has gone to be with the Lord on August 2, 2018. He is preceded in death by his nephew Bobby Gray, parents, John N. and Alice White, Sr.; his grandparents, "Granny" Pearl White and "Grandpa" Phil White. He left behind a son, Samuel Nelson White, sister and friend Debbie Harris(Robbie), ex wife and friend Nina White, 4 step daughters, Teresa, Christine, Mary(Russ), Ashley(Cody); 2 step sons, David, Daniel (Margaret) and 11 grandchildren. Johnny will forever be remembered for his huge heart, his love for his family, helping people whenever he had the chance, years of truck driving(White Hauling), and love for classic rock music. Johnny was a loving father, brother, son, uncle, pawpaw, and friend and will be missed dearly by all that knew him. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan and were services will be held Monday at 11a.m. Interment Powhatan Community Cemetery.
