John "Jackie" Gleason, Jr. 82, of Powhatan, passed away Jan. 17, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Doris J. Gleason; children, Lee Gleason (Valena) of Varina, Cindy Gordon (Ray) of Quinton, Eva Newton (Bobby) of Chesterfield, Keith Gleason (Sherrie) of Powhatan, Chuck Shelton (Lisa) of Midlothian; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
