Joseph "Patrick" Mott, II

Joseph "Patrick" Mott II, 18, from Powhatan, passed away Sunday June 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Patrick Mott and sister, Josephine (Josie) E. Mott. He is survived by his mother Alison Spivey and sister, Victoria Pultz; maternal grandparents, John and Joan Spivey of Powhatan; paternal grandfather, Joseph Mott and step-grandmother Sharon B. Mott of Roanoke; paternal grandmother Patricia Rowe of Toana. Patrick was very close with his aunts, Kimberly Mule', Emily (Tom)Mott Hartka, Kristina (Thomas) Rowe Holland and uncles, Roger (Wendy) Spivey, Justin (John) Mott, and Ethan (Chrissy) Mott. He also has a step-father, Frank Pultz, five step siblings, Mary, Steven, Claudia, William, Emma and step-grandmother, Francis Charlene Brice that loved and adored him. Patrick was a sweet, shy, loving child and a gentle, kind-hearted young man who cared so much for his family and friends. There will be a celebration of life service on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Bennett and Barden funeral home from 2pm to 4pm. Friends and family are welcome.
