June Stinnett Barden, 82 went to be with the lord on August 31, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Barden; son-in-law, Larry Marshall.She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joseph Barden Sr.; her daughters, Tammy Steel and Kristy Schinabeck (Keith); her son, Joey Barden (Susan); grandchildren, Brandi, Alyssa, Joseph (Danielle), Katie (Ross), Lexi and Emma; great-grandchildren, Gabby, Haley, Annie, Kole, Ryan, Kory, Gunnar and Thomas.; she is also survived by her brother, Harold Dewey Stinnett; sister, Iva Jean Cutright.

June went to college later in life and earned her degree in Special Education. She then went on to teach Special Education at Cumberland High School for 18 wonderful years. She will be dearly missed by both her family and the students she helped through the years. 

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Legacy Hospice for their care and support to our family during this time.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, where a Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
