Kathy Despain "Mrs. Santa", 57, of Powhatan, crossed the vail Wednesday October 10, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Ron Despain "Santa"; five children, Kathy Grissom, Ron Despain, Jr., Kimy Nalder, Karen Cumbea, Richard Despain; her mother, Jo Brinkerhoff and fourteen grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday Oct. 15, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:00 pm in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1957 Capeway Rd. Powhatan and followed with a memorial service at 1:00 pm.
